DOKSERBIA - DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKERS OF SERBIA

The Association of Documentary Filmmakers of Serbia, DOKSERBIA, is a professional association of documentary film producers and authors, which provides support to Serbian documentary filmmakers and to the overall development, production and screening of domestic creative documentary films in Serbia and abroad.

Acting at the level of cultural policy as well as an organizational base, DOKSERBIA places special emphasis on the establishment of permanent and systemic solutions that pave the way for sustainable development and prosperity of the independent production of documentary films.

Its activities include organizing expert workshops, encouraging the Public Broadcaster to buy domestic documentaries and promoting domestic authors in the country and worldwide. In association with the Film Center Serbia and with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, activities of the DOKSERBIA Association are aimed at a better positioning of the Serbian auteur documentary film on the domestic and world scene.
